At least two blown fuses were responsible for power outages Monday on the Creighton University campus, an Omaha Public Power District spokeswoman said.

Power outages were first reported about 9:30 a.m., said Jodi Baker of OPPD. Power had been restored to some buildings by 11 a.m., but the power soon went out again across campus.

Power had been restored to all but two buildings — the Kiewitt Fitness Center and the Skutt Student Center — by 3 p.m., a Creighton spokeswoman said. Power was restored to those two buildings by 4:45.
