Lo Sole Mio throwing milestone block party

Lo Sole Mio is having an outdoor block party on July 21, complete with vendor booths, food, beer and wine to celebrate 20 years in Omaha.

The restaurant will serve its grilled portobello sandwich, Italian sausage and peppers, grilled Italian chicken sandwich, meatball sandwich, Italian beef sandwiches, pizza by the slice, cannoli, ice cream and more.

An outdoor bocce ball court, face painting, a dunk tank, clowns and Italian-themed movies playing on an outdoor big screen are some of what the restaurant has planned. All of the proceeds from a number of raffles will benefit the Open Door Mission.

The party will take place on 32nd Street between Frederick and Oak Streets from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will go on rain or shine. There is no cover charge.

Zin opens patio

The Zin Room's patio is open, and it's debuting with outdoor cocktails.

Signature drinks and Skinny Girl Bikini Tinis are all available outside.
