A night out: Bethany Lutheran Church, 5151 Northwest Radial, will host a Neighbors Night Out today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Expect free food, games, water fun, clowns, the Omaha Fire and Police Departments and more. Free blood pressure checks will be available. This event is sponsored by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund.

Book reading: Learning HQ, 2283 S. 67th St. in Aksarben Village, will offer 20 percent off all purchases for those who stop in for Children's Story Time on Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. during the farmers market.
