The accolades continue to pour in for the Treynor softball program.

Coming off their state championship, Cardinal junior Madison Keysor has been named the Class 2-A pitcher of the year by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association, and coach JoEllen Travis has been named the Class 2-A coach of the year.

The IGCA selected three all-state teams in each of Iowa's five classes, along with pitchers of the year, players of the year and coaches of the year in each class. Thirty-five western Iowa athletes were named all-staters.

In Class 4-A, senior teammates Madison Frain and Katlin Briley of Creston were named first-team all-staters for the third straight year.

Frain, a pitcher, became a five-time all-stater after making the second team as a freshman and the third team as an eighth-grader. Briley, an infielder, is a four-time all-stater, making the third team as a freshman.

Also in 4-A, Sergeant Bluff-Luton senior catcher Betsy Thomas repeated as a first-team all-stater.
