Former Creighton standout Bob Portman will be induced into the Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame.
Portman is fourth all-time at Creighton with 1,876 points, and holds the school record for career scoring average at 24.7 points per game. Portman also averaged 12.9 rebounds per game, finishing fourth on the school list with 979 in his career.
The induction ceremony will be held March 8, 2013, during the MVC men's basketball tournament in St. Louis.
