Katie Jo Swanson already had nine saves, notching a shutout through regulation for the Creighton women.

Then Emily Goldstein collected the deflected ball near the top of the box in the 92nd minute, scoring the only goal Saturday in Iowa's State's 1-0 overtime win at Morrison Stadium in the Bluejays' regular-season opener.

It was Creighton's first goal allowed in an opener since 2007. The Cyclones (2-0), who beat UNO 4-0 Friday, are 4-0-1 all time against the Jays, winning each match by one goal. ISU's Maddie Jobe had six saves.

CU will host Utah State in a 5 p.m. game Friday at Morrison Stadium. The Aggies are coached by former Bluejay assistant Heather Cairns.
