COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Former Husker All-Americans Jordan Larson among 12 players selected to play on the U.S. women's volleyball at the London Olympics.

Nancy Metcalf, a three-time All-American and two-time Big 12 player of the year at Nebraska, was named one of eight replacement athletes for the team.

Larson, an outside hitter from Hooper, Neb., was a three-time All-American and was named the 2008 Big 12 player of the year in her senior season. She led the Huskers to three NCAA semifinal appearances and compiled 1,600 kills and 1,410 digs in her NU career.

The U.S. team opens play at the Olympics on July 28.
