Don't turn on your television at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and expect to watch Jordan Larson and the U.S. volleyball team fighting for a gold medal.

Gail Backer, who oversees programming for WOWT, said the match with Brazil will be part of NBC's taped Olympic show on Saturday night.

"We're under contract to air the network feed as sent to us,'' she said. "We have no option to get it at any other time.''

The decision to not show the match live won't stop the volleyball party in Larson's hometown of Hooper, Neb.

John Molzahn, the technology coordinator at Logan View School District, said Friday afternoon he had everything ready to go for Saturday's match, which he'll pick up instead through the internet.

"I'm either the good guy or the bad guy - we'll know two minutes after the start,'' he said.

Doors will open at noon, with nachos, popcorn and water provided for free.

The fastest route from Omaha is U.
